Happy New Year!
Our New Year Resolution in the computer lab is to become better
typists. Typing is a common core standard. The foundation helped
the computer lab invest in speedskins to help improve our typing skills. We
want to thank the foundation for their help in meeting our goal.
We are beginning the new year working with the new skins in 3rd
thru 5th grade. Kindergarten thru 2nd grade are working on improving
typing skills before moving onto the use of skins in the older grades.

check out for yourself. This is in no way asking you to purchase your
own, but we would like to share how the Foundation is helping us.
We do ask
that you have your student practice typing at home a few times a week
for about 15 minutes. There are many free sites on our webpage

The students have begun working with the skins and are doing a
great job.
